Arielle Smous admits, “It is challenging for me to pin-point a solitary image that encompasses my style. I feel that my style evolves with each endeavor, and I do my best to avoid becoming creatively stagnant. I tend toward a particular quality with my images.”

Also, Arielle has a tip for our readers. “The best tip I have to offer is to be vigilant; perpetually educate yourself, and always be willing to grow. Creative people generally wish to saturate their days creating rather than filing, but the reality isn’t so simple. Talent alone is just not enough to succeed in an always changing trade.”

When I asked Arielle if she has a favorite camera, lens, or piece of equipment that you can’t live without, she replied, “I honestly don’t have a choice piece of gear that I just can’t live without. Don’t misunderstand – I have become quite attached to what tools I have gathered for my craft. While I do agree that superior tools definitely make the process much more manageable, only ones grey matter is capable of doing the most crucial heavy-lifting.”
